Supplies needed: Bible; 8-1/2" x 11" construction paper (assorted colors); Easter symbol patterns (butterfly, cross, egg, flowers, sunrise); pens or pencils; hole puncher; string; scissors; tree branch; potting soil; bucket.
"Resurrect" a dead tree branch by decorating it with the symbols of Easter. Display the tree throughout the Easter season where you gather for family devotions as a reminder that Christ overcame sin and death and offers each of us new life in him. Read together Revelation 22:1-7. At the end of the reading, invite everyone to respond together: "AMEN! JESUS GIVES US NEW LIFE!"
