Supplies needed:  Bible; poster board (approximately 17" x 22"); construction paper (assorted colors); old magazines; marker; glue or paste; scissors. 

In large block letters, write LIVING HOPE in the center of the poster board.  Trace each letter (one at a time) in glue and cover each letter with small pieces of construction paper pre-cut into various shapes (squares, circles, triangles).  Cut out pictures from magazines and glue them onto the poster board, creating a collage of images that reflect new life.  Display the poster where you gather for family devotions.  Read 1 Peter 1:3-4.  At the end of the reading, invite everyone to respond together:  "THANK YOU, JESUS, FOR GIVING US NEW LIFE!"
